Nari Gunjan has been working together with marginalized women, children, and communities in Bihar since 1987, with a particular emphasis on Musahar women. Our aim is to break the cycle of poverty and discrimination by empowering people through education, social welfare, leadership training, and livelihoods. We wish to see everyone enjoying their rights and realizing their potential with dignity.

Our mission is to provide marginalized communities with opportunities and empower them to integrate into mainstream society.

At Nari Gunjan, we believe in educating and nurturing the younger generation towards a better and prosperous future. Through our various schemes like Prerana hostels, Kishori Kendras, Anand Shiksha Kendras, and many others, we ensure that the kids and young girls have proper access to education.
Empowering Women & Building Leadership
To build an empowered nation of women who can become strong leaders in the future, we at Nari Gunjan strive to empower marginalized women through activities like awareness sessions on their rights and developing skills in them to make them self-reliant.
Health, Protection & Community Development
To ensure healthy and safe communities, we organize health campaigns, distribute nutritional products among children, protect children from abuse, and take care of other such issues. This will not only improve the quality of lives but will also make communities more inclusive and sustainable.

Ever since 1987, the objective of Nari Gunjan has been to improve the quality of life of women, children, and marginalized groups residing in the state of Bihar, specifically focusing on the Musahar community. With our efforts in enhancing education, increasing health awareness, protecting children, empowering leaders and people socially, we aim to provide an environment where each and every individual is able to exercise their rights and achieve their full potential.
With a wide variety of programs such as the Prerana Hostels, Kishori Kendras, Anand Shiksha Kendras, community learning centers, health programs, child protection programs, and programs empowering women, we ensure that sustainable change is created within these communities.
